Ski holiday in the Ötztal valley

Längenfeld has the privilege of being located near two of the Alps’ top ski resorts. There’s no better place for a ski holiday you’ll never forget! From our hotel doorstep, Sölden is just 15 minutes by car. Obergurgl takes an additional 15 minutes. In the opposite direction, the family ski resort in Hochoetz attracts skiers with its sunny slopes, which are suitable for beginners. Tip: With the Ötztal Superskipass in hand, access all 363 km of slopes, 90 lifts and 6 ski resorts throughout the entire valley.

The Sölden and Obergurgl ski resorts are considered to be absolutely snow-secure thanks to their high elevation and modern snow-making facilities. Sölden opens the season in October already with the World Cup races on the glacier. Ski stars aren’t the only ones who love the Ötztal valley: Leisurely skiers, snowboarders and freestylers will discover countless favourite spots for a skiing holiday with the family in the Ötztal valley.

There are 3 sports shops in Längenfeld offering equipment and ski service for your piste adventures. Riml Sports opposite the Hotel Rita and Intersport Glanzer both offer a 10% discount on rentals for hotel guests. In addition, Intersport Glanzer provides free ski storage for the rental skis in Sölden (also for the equipment of the rest of the family). They are also happy to accept returns at either local branch.

Not just for beginners! Off to ski school! Regardless of whether you’re interested in booking a kids’ ski course or a freeriding guide, skiers of all levels can profit from ski instruction in the Ötztal valley.
